Once every year, the city of Bach turns black as 25,000+ people flood Leipzig, Germany to attend the world’s largest Gothic festival. It is an event like no other. Yet beneath the elaborate and startling appearances are people just like you and me. If you desire to be a living expression of light then EI invites you to join us for our 15th year of outreach at the Wave Gothic Festival. Upon arrival, the team will receive training on how to share the Gospel with Goths before taking part in the 3-day outreach inside the festival grounds. Afterwards, we will spend a half day exploring Wittenberg, one of the birthplaces of the Protestant Reformation through Martin Luther. For June 10, you are invited to join the EI staff for another outreach in Berlin.
*Ground Cost for Goth Fest only includes festival entrance ticket, lodging, public transport and meals.
**Ground Cost Full Trip adds 3 nights lodging in Berlin, extra transportation and meals to the cost above.
Why are there two different dates/costs?
For internationals who have a long way to travel, it will make the most sense to choose the Full Trip option (attention travelers from the US: you will have to fly out on June 4 to arrive by early
evening on June 5).
For Germans who might not be able to do the full trip, we offer the option of only joining our team in Leipzig for the Goth Fest itself. If you are organizing your own travel to and from Leipzig, you will get a further discount from the Ground Cost since that includes travel from Berlin to Leipzig and back.
